Codename Titles

There are 27 Codename Titles to earn in the 3DS version as opposed to the 40 something in the PS2 version. They have different conditions for earning them as well. Although, some of the titles are the same in both games there are some different conditions to earn them.

Below I will list all 27 Codename Titles from the most prestigous Title number 1 to the worst Cadename Title ranking number 27, which is also how they are ordered in the game. Following each Codename Title will be the conditions to earn that title and if it unlocks anything when earned. That's why it's in the Secrets & Unlockables section of this wiki.

Codename Titles:

1. Fox Hound - Clear the game on Extreme with: 25 or less saves, 5 or less life bars of total damage taken, 0 continues, 0 Alert Modes, 0 people killed, 20 or less serious injuries, no life medicines used, no special items used, and clear in 5 hours or less.
2. Fox - Clear the game on Hard with: 35 or less saves, 3 or less Alert Modes, 0 continues, 0 people killed, no life medicines used, no special items used, and clear in 5 hours or less.
3. Doberman - Clear the game on Normal or higher with: 0 continues, 5 or less Alert Modes, 0 people killed, no life medicines used, no special items used, and clear in 5 hours 30 minutes or less.
4. Hound - Clear the game on any difficulty with: 0 continues, 0 people killed, no life medicines used, no special items used, and clear in 6 hours or less.
5. '?' (Standby for this Title) - Clue is: Achieve a mediocre result in any difficulty. (If anyone knows the codename please edit this wiki)
6. Yoshi - Clear the game having shaken (shot) all the Yoshi dolls (multiple clears allowed). This means if you miss one or ten Yoshis during one clear you can play through it again and get the ten you missed on not the other 54 and still get the title.
7. Whale - Clear the game having captured every plant and animal (there are 46 different plants and animals and 2 types of food.)
8. Tsuchinoko - Clear the game with the Tsuchinoko captured alive (have one in a cage in your inventory hen you beat the game, for more info see the Food & Stamina section of this wiki).
9. Chameleon - Clear the game with 0 Alert Modes.
10. Leech - Clear the game with a leech attached to your body.
11. Pigeon - Clear the game with 0 people killed.
12. Tortoise - Clear the game with 20 or less serious injuries.
13. Eagle - Clear the game in 5 hours or less.
14. Pig - Clear the game having eaten 250 or more meals.
15. Cow - Clear the game with 250 or more Alert Modes.
16. Crocodile - Clear the game with 250 or more people killed.
17. Bear - Clear the game with 250 or more serious injuries.
18. Giant Panda - Clear the game with 50 or more hours of play time.
19. Cat - Clear the game with 100 or more saves.
20. Scorpion - Clear the game with 50 or less continues, 35 or less Alert Modes, and 100 or less people killed.
21. Tarantula - Clear the game with 50 or less continues, 35 or less Alert Modes, and 101 or less people killed.
22. Centipede - Clear the game with 51 or more continues, 35 or less Alert Modes, and 100 or less people killed.
23. Spider - Clear the game with 51 or more continues, 35 or less Alert Modes, and 101 or more people killed.
24. Jaguar - Clear the game with 50 or less continues, 36 or more Alert Modes, and 100 or less people killed.
25. Panther -  Clear the game with 50 or less continues, 36 or more Alert Modes, and 101 or more people killed.
26. Leopard - Clear the game with 51 or more continues, 36 or more Alert Modes, and 100 or less people killed.
27. Puma - Clear the game with 51 or more continues, 36 or more Alert Modes, and 101 or more people killed.

As you can see some of these titles are similar. Some of them are hard to get because of their conditions. I had to intentionally get caught 50 times in a row for a couple of them and it took forever but, if you get all 27 titles then you unlock a bunch national flag face paints. So, in the end there is a reward if you're as thorough as I am when trying to beat a game.
